EXTERIOR DESIGN
Her sweeping exterior curves are inspired by the rolling waves of the ocean, with the hull flanked by an impressive 6 meters of glass, to blend the relationship between superyacht and sea, and to prove that the Iconic SX80 is as innovative as it is appealing.
She is designed to be built from a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. 2 colours strikingly blends on the exterior, for a bold, classic, and timeless design. Of course, various shades of these colours will appear, rolling off her sweeping curves, but less can be more, and Iconic SX80 is designed to stand out. Light is maximized through the multiple blended portholes and through the centerpiece of a 6m glass dressed hull that carries light into guest cabins, the VIP stateroom, and the owner's office. More glass is utilised under the main 8m swimming pool to reflect the sunlight during the day, and any color of the owner’s choosing at night, into the ‘sky’ of the sunset lounge. Entry onboard is via the port and starboard folding platforms of the beach club on the lower deck, or from retractable extending stairs of the rear main deck, or from the mast structure adjacent to the Heli-Pad. An invisible mooring system is hidden below the upper deck. Finallly and the most excitingly, lower deck portholes are arranged to spell ‘LOVE’ in Morse code to draw attention to sustainability in the yachting industry. ( .-.. --- ...- .)
INTERIOR DESIGN
The Iconic SX80 boasts an impressive list of leisure and entertainment facilities to make her the ideal yacht for socialising, entertaining, or relaxing. Her interior design prioritises maximum levels of quality and comfort and where possible, utilises high-quality sustainably sourced materials.She features all the luxuries of a mega yacht including an 8-meter swimming pool, a Heli-pad, a glass-sided infinity pool, a gym, a private sun deck, a glass lift/elevator, a beach club with a full-beam swimming platform, a garage with enough space for 2 tenders and 2 Jet Skis, and luxury accommodations for 12 guests and 15 crew. Guestrooms are spacious at 45 & 50 square meters with full height exterior glass walls. The 100 square meters owners stateroom on the main deck includes a wellness complex with a spa and sauna, and a folding balcony to give owners the best kind of open deck experience inside their room. The VIP stateroom is also on the main deck and can have easy access to the wellness complex if so desired. All rooms have king/queen-sized beds, private bathrooms, and private dressing rooms.
Additionally, she has an underwater lounge below lower deck with viewing glass on the starboard hull to spot the magic of sea life, as well as a giant screen to use this space as a private cinema.

In IconicSX80 and every other concept of Azurite, our primary focus is to specify environmentally friendly, recyclable, and plastic-free products & materials to use onboard which is a next-level challenge in yacht design.
With the ambition to improve an industry with eco-friendly solutions, we developed a thesis on how increasing outdoor areas on mega yachts could literally reduce extreme use of materials and increase the joy of being one with nature. While creating this thesis for Iconic SX80 we ideated our findings based on already built superyacht projects which are tested in real-world scenarios. From this, we set out the design of the actual product — under the minimal design language and increased use of outdoors functionally and emotionally — with a hybrid propulsion system that allowed us to represent our mission of creating environmentally-friendly yachts with honest and purposeful modern design systems which were optimised for maximum functionality, joy, and usability.

Trying to keep the design as minimal and functional as possible while holding the one of most luxurious experiences on board was a high-priority goal.
